Started with a vision of empowering India through education, edYOUcate India, an IIM Ranchi alumni initiative, welcomes all who strongly believe that the financial condition of a child's parents should not determine the child's future destiny.
Education should not be a high-priced luxury but a basic right. Why then, even after the apparently numerous efforts by government to provide free primary education, these efforts do not seem to percolate the way they should? Frankly, when earning daily bread for oneself and one's family takes the center stage, it leaves little or no scope for even considering getting educated. And this outlook continues for years to come leaving generations of a family stuck in the loop of short-term goals and poverty.
edYOUcate India is making a humble effort to break this loop. We believe the answer lies with YOU. YOU, who are educated enough to be able to read this page realize the importance of education and it is you who can contribute in your own way to help us catalyze this change.
We urge you to lend us your hand in pulling out children from a gloomy pre-determined destiny into a world of endless possibility, a world powered by education.
